ABOUT ST. CROIX, US VIRGIN ISLANDS

The U.S. Virgin Islands is made up of St. Croix, St. Thomas, and St. John. St. Croix has diverse landscapes along with its rich collection of historical ruins amid sugar plantations. St. Croix’s two major towns are Christiansted and Frederiksted. At the southwestern tip of the island Sandy Point offers tranquil waters and miles of white sands; it is also a nesting place for endangered leatherbacks. Diving and snorkeling are excellent at the 47 dive sites around St. Croix. Deep-sea fishing, hiking, kayaking and kite surfing are also available.

St. Croix has an amazingly rich culture, influenced by seven different nations. Filled with modern-day conveniences, it still manages to hold onto that old world charm.
