Prepare yourself for a full day on the Caribbean Sea in the East End Marine Park Sanctuary. We will leave Green Cay Marina at 10:00am just as the trade winds begin to blow.
The first stop will be to take a swim with the tarpon in Teague Bay, while Captain Dee prepares lunch.
We will dine on local fruits, vegetables and seasonal seafood when available.
After lunch and a rest we will weigh anchor and head for the fringes of the barrier reef to "Purple Fingers" reef. Captain Dee will provide a guided tour of the reef and take you to three unique "salty" habitats. We will snorkel the barrier reef, visit sea grass beds and soft sandy areas as well as several deeper patch reefs.
Expect to see large southern string rays, eagle rays, brittle starfish, cushion starfish, Queen conch and variety of reef fish as well as the purple finger corals that have given this reef its namesake.
The day ends at 4:00pm in time for you to get back to your hotel or villa to rest for cocktail hour and dinner.
If you are arriving by cruise ship we can adjust your schedule so that you can get back to the ship in ample time.
